GIVING BIRTH TO MOSHIACH

Just before a woman gives birth it is called the transition phase.  The redemption from this exile is compared to birth. We, the Jewish nation,  are now in the transition phase: the phase with the greatest pain. But we are able to manage it because we keep in mind the beautiful baby we will soon hold in our arms.

Getting through these last, very dark and frightening moments of exile requires us to keep our mind focused on the final result: the Geula. The redemption. On Moshiach.

We see how prophecies from over a thousand years ago are coming true today. We see how everything the Lubavitcher Rebbe said as a prophecy is being fulfilled. We know Moshiach will be here very soon. We just have to hang in there, keep our btochon and faith very strong, and we will very soon merit the Beit Hamikdash hashlishi.

The war with Iran is part of the process of bringing Moshiach. Yes, the challenges are great, the suffering is immense, but the miracles are great as well. A small child is thrown from the window of the third floor apartment together with his bed when a missile from Iran hits his home….and he lands on top of the mattress and survives with barely a scrape! If that is not a miracle, what is?

Just as in the days when we went out of Egypt and God showed us wonders, so too now there will be even bigger miracles . May we truly merit the Geula with Moshiach immediately now. As we sit at our Pesach seders, let us concentrate on how we can bring Moshiach. The sufferings of this generation are truly the birth pangs of Moshiach but we need the baby already!

WISHING EVERYONE A VERY KOSHER, HAPPY PASSOVER! HOPEFULLY WE WILL CELEBRATE THIS YEAR IN JERUSALEM.
