We know the Torah warns against a Judge taking a bribe as it affects his judgment. Now what we are seeing in the political area is akin to taking a bribe. Witkof, who President Trump assigned to be the mid east envoy, was bailed out of a bad business deal by Qatar a few years ago and they intentionally wanted to get him into Trump’s inner circle, which led to his appointment as middle east envoy….something qatar planned. Therefore he is prejudiced in his attitudes and he cannot be the right person to mediate a deal with Israel. Why has Trump fallen for this? And now that this is public knowledge, why is he still in that position??
It is rumored that Trump himself received many gifts from Qatar and other countries that are pro terrorism. How could he accept those gifts?? Everyone knows Qatar is the center of encouraging terrorism, of funding and supporting hamas and Iran….how could trump fall for that??
It is a shock to see the disappointment in Trump only days after taking office. He has changed his positions on key issues drastically. From shouting that hamas had to release all hostages immediately or it would be really bad….he suddenly capitulated on so many unfair demands, weakening israel’s security and making Israel look very humiliated. Why??
I personally believe this is a message from Above to emphasize to the Jewish nation that we can NEVER put our trust in a human being, no matter who they are or what they say. Our trust can only be in the Almighty.
And if that means going it alone, so be it. Israel needs to become self sufficient, produce their own weapons and spend money on boosting their own security rather than groveling at the feet of Washington trying to get approval….
I can only hope and pray the Israeli govt wakes up and does what is correct, even though they find themselves in a very, very complex position. Now to back out of the hostage deal creates other issues, including tremendous protests from the hostage families. But to continue with this deal is dangerous for Israel and for Jews everywhere. And, quite frankly, it is dangerous for all societies because the terrorists get a message that this type of thing works. They want to rule not only Israel but the whole world. I am sure the Almighty will not allow that and will hurl them down as their arrogance increases. I am sure the Almighty will come to the help of Israel, as always. But from the beginning perhaps it did not have to be this way. If Israel stands up for what is right, refuses to compromise one iota and retains our Jewish pride and refuses to negotiate or give in to terror, things would be very different. Few people truly stand with Israel. It is very sad when the American govt turns on Israel. The Biden administration was certainly no better. they were the ones to draft up this terrible dangerous agreement and hostage deal. But why did trump push it through? He is a problem solver and an expert negotiator. This is a deal Trump would NEVER negotiate for himself or America. Why is he compromising with Israel? Just to go down in history that he made peace? That he brought the hostages home? That is totally selfish because, number one, there is no peace. And hamas does not want peace. And Trump knows that. Number two, bringing home these hostages just encourages more kidnappings in future so how is this anything to be proud of? People who are wise see the future, do not just act according to emotions.
And hamas is cruel: they release the healthier hostages first. They refuse to say who is alive. They play with Israel. They release the hostages on the Jewish sabbath just to bother people. It is absolutely unbelievable. Where is the Bibas family? Where are those babies? Why is there no outrage from the world or even the trump administration about that? It is as if nobody really cares…it is all a show.
I hope and pray the Jewish nation wakes up and understands the truth and refuses to give in to terrorism anymore or deals that endanger Israel,no matter who is pushing them. I hope that this deal will not be implemented fully and it will be stopped before it goes too far. The truth is: we only have the Almighty to rely upon and we pray for the coming of Moshiach because that is the only solution to world problems.
